RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane Casts Vote in Kathmandu

Kathmandu – Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and candidate from Chitwan Constituency No. 2, Rabi Lamichhane, cast his vote in Kathmandu on Thursday morning.

He exercised his voting rights at the Mahankalchour polling center located at Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Limited in Kathmandu Constituency No. 3.

Speaking to journalists after voting, Lamichhane expressed confidence that this election will mark the beginning of a new era in the country.

“This election is far more important than previous ones. Considering the current situation, I feel a bit emotional,” Lamichhane said. “I expect this election to become historic.”

Although Rabi Lamichhane is contesting the House of Representatives election from Chitwan Constituency No. 2, his voter registration is listed in Kathmandu Constituency No. 3, which is why he cast his vote at the polling center there.

Voting for the House of Representatives election began nationwide at 7:00 AM, and election officials have reported encouraging voter participation at various polling centers across the country.
