RSP’s Prakash Gautam Leads Vote Count in Makwanpur Constituency-1

Makwanpur: The preliminary results of the ongoing vote count for the House of Representatives election in Makwanpur Constituency-1 have been made public.

According to the vote counting from various booths at Siddhartha Secondary School polling center, Prakash Gautam of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), contesting under the bell election symbol, has taken the lead with 1,854 votes.

As per the Election Commission, Rameshwar Rana Magar, contesting under the sun symbol, has received 291 votes. Similarly, Mahalaxmi Upadhyaya (Dina), the candidate with the tree symbol, has secured 662 votes.

Likewise, Dipak Bahadur Singh, contesting under the plough symbol, has received 312 votes.

Among other candidates, Ranjana Suwal Magaju, contesting under the madal symbol, has received 2 votes, while Rupak Lama, contesting under the tilted umbrella symbol, has not yet opened his account in the vote count.

According to the Office of the Election Officer, 115 votes have been declared invalid so far, and the vote counting process is still ongoing.
