Ranju Neupane Wins Kathmandu-1, Says ‘The Real Fight Starts Now’

Kathmandu — Ranju Neupane has secured victory in the House of Representatives election from Kathmandu Constituency No. 1.

Following the confirmation of her victory, Neupane expressed gratitude to voters during a press conference. She thanked the electorate for their support and emphasized that the election took place under special political circumstances.

Speaking to journalists, Neupane stated that both the candidate and the party had adopted strategic preparations for the election, while voters also responded decisively through their votes.

She said the results clearly showed that voters have sent a strong message against those who have repeatedly betrayed Nepali citizens for the past 35 to 36 years. According to her, the electorate has effectively decided to close the door on political forces that have failed to deliver to the people.

Neupane noted that the victory is not only a moment of celebration but also a serious responsibility. She stressed that the mandate from the voters means that she must now prove herself through tangible work.

“The real fight starts now,” Neupane said, adding that the victory represents a triumph of thoughtful and responsible politics.

She further expressed deep gratitude to every voter in Kathmandu-1, stating that the electoral success will push her and her team to work harder to fulfill public expectations.
